Tapi joins The Furniture Ombudsman (TFO) to pledge its ongoing commitment to customer satisfaction.
This means Tapi is maintaining and reinforcing its high standards with consumers now benefiting from the expertise of The Furniture Ombudsman for free. Customers of Tapi can access the Ombudsman’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Services in the event that something goes wrong with a purchase, and Tapi cannot find a mutually satisfactory resolution.
Tapi represents a chain of stores across the UK, specialising in carpets, laminate flooring, vinyl, and luxury vinyl flooring.
TFO has a pool of members which extends to over 8,000 furniture and home improvement outlets in the United Kingdom. All of its members pledge to abide by a Code of Practice which bestows additional rights on the consumers who shop with them. Most of the UK’s biggest furniture and home improvement retailers pledge their support for the scheme.
Tracey Skea, Commercial Development Director at Tapi, says: “We are delighted to be a full member of The Furniture Ombudsman. We place our customers at the heart of everything we do and feel this final reassurance will further inspire consumer confidence in our brand and service.’’
Kevin Grix, Chief Ombudsman and Chief Executive of The Furniture Ombudsman, says: “It is always pleasing when a business wishes to highlight their responsible business practices, and we are therefore delighted to welcome Tapi as members of The Furniture Ombudsman.”
