Sofa Club joins The Furniture Ombudsman

Sofa Club joins The Furniture Ombudsman (TFO) and demonstrates the businesses ongoing commitment to raising standards and promoting consumer confidence.

When businesses join the Ombudsman they a signing up to a Code of Practice which is designed to ensure the highest levels of customer service are maintained and reinforced throughout the organisation. Membership also  benefits their consumers as they will now be able to access the expertise of The Furniture Ombudsman for free if they are unable to resolve a complaint directly with the business.

With over 25 years of experience,  TFO pride itself on the incredible and diverse expertise that has been acquired over this time. This has included the establishment of an accredited City & Guilds learning and development programme, a dedicated Ombudsman team who are all legally trained and a membership base that covers over 16,000 outlets and independent traders. Most of the UK’s biggest furniture and home improvement retailers pledge their support to the scheme.

We are delighted to become a member of the Furniture Ombudsman. We want to do everything we can to ensure our customers feel confident when ordering a new sofa with us. Louis Rose, Co-Founder Sofa Club

We are always pleased when businesses demonstrate their commitment to their customers and customer service processes by joining an Ombudsman. In today’s environment it is more important than ever to give consumers the added comfort that in the event of something going wrong with their purchase the complaint can be referred to the Ombudsman who will endeavour to find a mutually satisfactory resolution. It highlights responsible business practice and shows a willingness to improve customer services.  Billy Quinn, MD, The Furniture Ombudsman
