Abey Furnishings joins The Furniture Ombudsman

Abey Furnishings joins The Furniture Ombudsman (TFO) to pledge its ongoing commitment to customer satisfaction.

This means Abby Furnishings is continuing to raise its standards and as a by-product, consumers can benefit from the expertise of The Furniture Ombudsman for free.

Abey Furnishings is an independent, family run furniture retailer with an extensive showroom in Humberstone near Cleethorpes. They provide a range of home furnishings from sofas, chairs, dining furniture, beds and bedroom furniture to occasional furniture, accessories, carpets, rugs and flooring. Abbey Furnishings has a 30.000 sq. ft. showroom, on site free parking and disabled access.

TFO has a pool of members which extends to over approximately 16,000 traders and outlets in the United Kingdom. All of its members pledge to abide by a Code of Practice which bestows additional rights on the consumers who shop with them.  Most of the UK’s biggest furniture and home improvement retailers pledge their support for the scheme.

Kevin Grix, Chief Ombudsman and Chief Executive of The Furniture Ombudsman, says: “We aim to inspire consumer confidence and help raise industry standards, and our ability to achieve these increases with each business that joins our scheme. It is always pleasing when a business wishes to highlight their responsible business practices, and we `are therefore delighted to welcome Abey Furnishings as members of The Furniture Ombudsman.
