Profile
George Ford began Fords in 1877 using his skills as an Upholsterer, Cabinet Making and French Polishing. The business then branched out into House Removals, Storage and Funeral Services, all still using horse drawn wagons. 1967 saw the glass fronted shop built as you see it today on The Old Cottage and Shop. We are Rutlands only department store and still family run.
