Our independent status is at the heart of everything that we do, as is our commitment to openness, honesty and integrity and we recognise the importance of this to everyone that relies on our services. The work that we do is impartial; we are neither a consumer champion or trade body.
The Standards Board
To help preserve our independent status, our work as an Ombudsman is regulated by a Standards Board who have oversight of our cases, practices and procedures. Read more.
