What is The Furniture Ombudsman?      

The Furniture Ombudsman is an independent organisation which specialises in providing Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) solutions for consumers of the furniture, home improvement and floor coverings industry.

Its role is to improve the standard and service offered by retailers, manufacturers and other associated companies.

The work of The Furniture Ombudsman and its associated decision making processes are overseen by a cross-section of interested parties including representatives from Trading Standards, retailers and manufacturers.
